CrossCut Jig // How To

Last time I made a bulky, circular saw cross cut jig. However, this time, I got a cordless circular saw and I want to make a smaller, more compact crosscut jig that will fit this small saw.

This jig is made out of nothing but plywood scraps and maximizes the cut capacity for this cordless saw. Although the saw has 1 1/2" of cut capacity, the base that it rides on is a 1/2" plywood base so the jig loses 1/2" of cut capacity.

This project turned out great and is very handy to have one in the shop. You could also bring it with you to a job site.
